september 16 is tradesmen day

September 16th is National Tradesmen Day. Today is a day to remember to be appreciative of those in the trades and all they do for us. Our electricians work tirelessly to light up your homes and keep them lit for years to come. This national day was created by Irwin Tools to honor those in the trades. Tradesmen are around us all the time and everyday, you may not even realize it. That person working on the sewer line in your neighborhood – working a trade job. The people fixing the roads in town or the person that works on your car – tradesmen. The person that sets up the electrical work in your home – tradesmen. People in the trades keep the world’s wheels greased up and turning everyday. Our world would be significantly worse off if we didn’t have any tradesmen.

How to Celebrate

Today would be the most perfect day to show your gratitude towards a tradesmen in however way you feel would be best. For example, if there is one in your family you could make them their favorite meal for supper to show your appreciation. If you don’t have a tradesmen in your family you could drop off a nice treat, like donuts, to a job site that you see them working at. An easier way to show your gratitude would be to just make sure to say thank you to your apartment’s maintenance worker or any other person that you see working a trade. There is always a way to show appreciation for our essential workers whether it is a small gesture or a larger one.

We are so grateful for all the tradesmen, especially our very own team of hardworking electricians here at Point Electric. We also would like to express our appreciation for all other tradesmen out there that are contributing to our society everyday.
